A. To my birds

I look at you in the clear morning.
The wrong and the right
The lack of courage and sufficiency
Are mirrored in you
Transparently, as they are
And my shy face, too.

B.
One bird, one shadow
Two birds, two shadows
Three birds, three shadows
Many birds, many shadows
Gathering together,
Scattering
And
disappearing.

I walk
In the alley….
Under the tires of the car stopped there
Five small sparrows
Flew flapping their wings
Surprised at the sound of my footsteps

I am walking silently
